AMSv4.3

Overview

AMSv4.3 was released 6pm 20 February 2023 NZ time (UTC+13Hrs). AMSv4.3 includes updates for HQPlayer Server and HQPlayer NAA, and patches to speed up the recognition of connected audio devices. We have also added functionality to Squeeze Player that allows it to connect more easily with Squeeze Server in networks where name resolution is not supported by the customer’s router.

Users with AMSv4.2 will see an update button at the solution dashboard, and all they need to do is click on it to run the update, and then reboot into AMSv4.3.

For a two-computer device, such as an Oladra, K50, or K30, update the server and only update the player after the server has updated, and then reboot only after both have been updated.
